Are you available for weddings/events?
No, I do not take photographs of weddings.
My friend Hope Kinchen, who’s an award winning Photojournalist, does. You can contact her though her website www.photographybyhope.com She’s located in Jacksonville, but does shoot down here in South Florida
How do I book a session?
Call or e-mail me. {561-347-8783 / mail@trudyellen.com } If necessary, we’ll set up a time to meet and talk more about the photo session. This occurs at no cost to you and is essential for determining your needs. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have at that time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Paypal Payments, Personal Checks and Cash.
Do I need a hair and makeup artist?
Generally, I encourage my clients to make themselves up just as they would if they were going to an audition. During your consultation we’ll discuss your specific needs and determine if a hair and makeup artist is necessary. If needed, I will arrange for one for an additional fee. All sessions include any powder makeup required and you are always welcome to bring your favorite makeup and hair styling tools to use during the session.
What should I bring on the day of the session?
First, bring a smile and a good attitude. We’re going to have fun and the experience should be exciting for you. Have at least three outfits so that you can vary your look. You may also bring CDs of your favorite music to play while we are conducting the session.
There are many photographers advertising for headshots. How do I choose?
It’s true that there are lots of choices and that can be frustrating. The fact is that there are many excellent photographers and there are also many mediocre photographers. You can find the right one by following simple criteria. First, meet with the photographer and see if you like them. This is a person that you will be depending on over the years to shape your image and it’s essential that you enjoy interacting with them. Finally, you should select someone who knows the entertainment industry from the business side. A photographer who has worked directly with producers and directors will know what’s needed to create a desirable headshot.
Do you take test shots?
Yes and No…..I shoot with a digital camera so we can see the shots as we go.
Do you keep the negatives/images?
There aren’t negative so to speak. I give you a high resolution cd/dvd of all the images and they are yours to use any way you want, without having to get permission or paying an extra fee. Like so many other photographers.
Do you guarantee your work?
Absolutely, client satisfaction is my first priority.
